PocketGPU is built so your data stays on your machines. This page lists everything that does leave them, where it goes and why.

What stays on your devices

GPU and system stats, history, job output and logs, quick actions, terminal sessions and chats with your models stay on your machine and your phone. They travel between the two end-to-end encrypted, directly or through a relay that cannot read them. We never receive them.

Notifications

When an alert fires, your machine sends a short text such as “Job train.py finished” to our push server, which passes it to Apple or Google for delivery. We do not store the text. The push server keeps your phone’s push token and a random ticket that lets your machines reach it.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play and recorded by RevenueCat under a random ID. Web purchases are handled by Polar, which collects your email, country and payment details. To link a web purchase, we email you a sign-in code and keep the address only for the code’s 10 minutes.

Usage events and crash reports

The app sends anonymous usage events to Aptabase, such as “paired a machine” or “opened alerts”, without names, IP addresses or device identifiers, to learn which features help. Crash reports go to Sentry. The agent sends crash reports only if you turn them on.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist we store your email address, the page that brought you and when you joined, in Cloudflare D1, and send email through our email provider. Every email has a link to unsubscribe and a link to delete your address at once. We never sell or share it.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use, by writing to privacy@pocketgpu.app. Most of your data never reaches us, so removing the app and the agent removes it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so in the app and, if you are on the waitlist, by email.
